『「パ、チ、ン、コ…」と規則的に次々に明滅する、あのパチンコ屋のネオン看板。小さい頃など、誰しも目で追ってみたことがあるのではないだろうか。一瞬現れる文字の珍妙な響きに、子供同士大爆笑。
あの感覚を再現したく、薄めの消しゴムはんこ板に看板っぽい文字を彫ってローラー状にする、という実験をしてみた。』
